Training Time...

Some of that know me know that I use to be a hard core runner.
I got married...and got lazy. Nate says its happiness :)
Well I am starting (slowly) to train for a 1/2 marathon.
The race is in December and I ran 4 miles this morning...
Any fellow runners have any tips?
I heard this book was good... I also need to know what to be eating!

Hi Em! I'm so excited to hear that you're doing this. I'm training for a half on Dec 6th. You can do it.

I'm not too good on what to eat...I eat just about anything but I'm running about 15-18 miles a week. My 2 short runs are now 5s and my long one is up to 8! Eeek...the longest I've ever gone. I've found that the best thing I've done is go to runner's world and download a training schedule, mark it all down on a calender and mark things off as you complete them. It gives me a sense of accomplishment!

I know you can do it. Can't wait to hear how your training is going!
