"Change does not necessarily assure progress, but progress...requires change. Education is essential to change, for education creates both new wants and the ability to satisfy them."

"The fact is, sometimes it's really hard to walk in a single woman's shoes. That's why we need really special ones now and then to make the walk a little more fun."--Carrie Bradshaw

What I think is beautiful today...

D.H. Lawrence: “Beauty is an experience, nothing else. It is not a fixed pattern or an arrangement of features. It is something felt, a flow or a communicated sense of fitness. What ails us is that our sense of beauty is so bruised and blunted, we miss all the best.”

*I love the mountains that surround us- Nate took me on a picnic today, at a park with a mountain by it- not as big as the one above from an earlier hiking trip.!

Things I love from the blog world

Love this! from MadeByGirl

"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the wine I drink
I feel shame Then I look into the glass and think
about the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes
and dreams . If I didn't drink this wine, they might be out
of work and their dreams would be shattered.
Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this wine and let their
dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."
~ Jack Handy
