I read in Newsweek a couple weeks ago (link) that it is far greener to not send Christmas cards. Consider the trees cut, the chemicals used in printing, the fuel used in shipping. On cards, Newsweek said: "Cards. This year consider going paper-free. Direct friends to your family blog or create a free multiphoto card or an online slideshow on photobucket.com. You can add holiday music, snowflakes and bits of text, and then e-mail friends and family a link."

Other great tips like LED lights, to.

I'm dreaming of a green Christmas.

I love all of those! So cute! Nothing makes you smile like a card from a friend.

I do see the point made about cutting back on things like that. Maybe there are "green" cards to send? Or encourage people to recycle the cards? I have made lots of things from christmas cards!

I love the rock paper scissors card. I went to the site and found a ton that were too cute.
