made me realize how wasteful we are- our children and grandchildren will pay for this. So i have started to recycle at home and at the office, its a little thing but i believe it can help! (this new habit annoys my dad which makes it even better!)1. Every day American businesses generate enough paper to circle the earth 20 times !
2. Each ton of recycled paper can save 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, three cubic yards of landfill space, 4,000 kilowatts of energy and 7,000 gallons of water!
3. Every Sunday, Americans waste 90 percent of recyclable newspapers. This wastes 500,000 trees!
